Yep, all the time. Each writing is different, and sometimes it ain't getting me and I just write it all myself. In terms of ethical reluctance not really, because in the end I'm demanding not just that I agree with each word, but that it reflects the spirit and priorities I intend. I think the bigger issue might be the self-discipline it requires to insist on quality when the friction to get to decently good is low.
